 | Doug Cartwright Senior High and College Director I have been blessed to be a part of Sr. High and College ministry here at First Presbyterian Church of Wichita Falls since 1996. I arrived at First Presbyterian in the fall of 1996 as a student ministries intern, working with both junior and senior high students. The following year I began what is today our college ministry at MSU and the surrounding community. After a few years of college ministry work, I completed my degree at Midwestern and went on staff full time as the Assistant Director of Student Ministries. In 2003 I became the Director of Sr. High and College Ministries. While working in these areas, I was simultaneously working on my master’s degree at Midwestern in Training and Development Counseling. In May of 2005 I received my master’s degree. My journey here at First Presbyterian over the past decade has been one of tremendous blessing. The congregation here has been a huge support and family to me as I have attained my educational goals and developed the ministry that God has called me to here. I am continually blessed and encouraged by the awesome congregation God has called together here at FPC. | | |
